The SaBRe VI.V wheelset was engineered with one clear focus: uncompromising speed and efficiency in Olympic-distance triathlon. 60mm front / 50mm rear profile — the optimal balance of aerodynamic advantage, lightweight responsiveness, and crosswind stability.
Every component of the VI.V was selected in collaboration with professional riders and validated in the wind tunnel. The unique rim profile is optimized not just for depth, but also shape, tire integration, and crosswind stability in real-world racing conditions.
Paired with Continental Aero 111, GP5000 S TR and GP5000 TT tires — the rim-tire interface delivers class-leading aerodynamic performance. Thanks to this precision, the VI.V outperforms even significantly deeper TT profiles in aero, while maintaining lower mass and better handling.

Disc wheels are engineered to minimize aerodynamic drag — the main source of resistance at high speeds. For years, using a full disc in the rear meant gains on flat sections and losses on climbs — heavy foam-filled designs cost time every time the road went uphill.
SaBRe (1050g) and Light SaBRe (910g) combine low aerodynamic drag with weight comparable to deep section rear wheels.
